Million funding strengthens vocational training in Baden-Württemberg

The state of Baden-Württemberg invests around twelve million euros in the promotion of inter-company vocational training in 2024. This measure aims to strengthen vocational training and relieve small and medium -sized training companies. The funding includes the implementation of inter-company vocational training courses for trainees who have concluded a contract with a Baden-Württemberg company.

Minister of Labor and Economic Affairs Dr. Nicole Hoffmeister-Kraut emphasizes the importance of this measure for securing skilled workers and strengthening vocational training in the craft, construction industry, industry and trade. Due to the increased grants for the inter-company vocational training courses, the state sets an important signal for the future of specialists in Baden-Württemberg.

The funding is made available to various organizations such as chambers of crafts, guilds, district crafts and state associations of the craft and building trade as well as chambers of industry and commerce. A total of around 87,800 participants are planned for the year 2024, with the majority being carried out in the craft and construction industry.

The implementation of the inter -company vocational training courses in almost 100 inter -company training centers ensures a uniform training standard for the trainees, regardless of the size and specialization of the training companies. This measure not only contributes to the securing of the younger growth, but also for quality assurance in the training occupations.

Overall, promoting inter-company vocational training is an important step to strengthen the training in Baden-Württemberg and to improve the professional perspectives of young people. With these investments, the country makes an important contribution to securing skilled workers and the future of the economy in southwestern Germany.
