Legal test paragraph enables flexible solutions in day care centers
From December 9, 2023, the so-called test paragraph in Baden-Württemberg comes into force. This law gives carriers of day care centers the opportunity to deviate from existing regulations and to test new models. This is intended to develop suitable solutions in order to meet the needs of children, parents and daycare staff.
This step was introduced by the state government in response to the persistently high demand for high -quality early childhood education and support. Although the training capacities and paths for educational specialists have been expanded in recent years, the need is still high. Therefore, the goal is to develop new solutions for the current challenges.
The change in the law also includes an intended participation process that is intended to ensure that new concepts receive the necessary support from parents, personnel and the community. This process is intended to ensure that the child's welfare is guaranteed in every respect and at all times. Applications for tests can be made at the local association for youth and social issues.
In parallel to this change in the law, the law to implement the state program for the promotion of investing measures in childcare in childcare also comes into force. This provides up to 105 million euros from the state to expand daycare care places. This serves to create and maintain childcare places for children from birth to school. Well -equipped day care centers are an important location factor because they enable parents to work and support the economy in the competition for skilled workers.
These measures are intended to relieve the tense situation in the area of early childhood education and support in Baden-Württemberg. State Secretary Volker Schebesta emphasizes that it remains the common goal of the government to protect the on -site balance between the children's right to educate, the need for care of the parents and the concerns of the pedagogical specialists. These legal changes show the commitment of the state government to adapt early childhood education and support to the current requirements and challenges.
