Finance State Secretary Gisela Splett visits photovoltaic systems in Karlsruhe
The Finance State Secretary Gisela Splett recently visited three different photovoltaic projects for state buildings in Karlsruhe. The visited systems are a facade photovoltaic at the State Institute for the Environment, a photovoltaic system on the roof of the Karlsruhe University of Education and a roof system on the slate roof of the listed Baden State Library.
The visit showed the variety of possibilities when expanding photovoltaic systems on state buildings. The spectrum of PV expansion projects extends from the facade photovoltaic to large roof photovoltaic systems to roof systems in listed buildings. Finance Secretary Gisela Splett emphasized the importance of these projects and praised the diverse tasks that can be mastered in the implementation of photovoltaic systems on state buildings.
The visits of the State Secretary Splett illustrate the commitment of the State of Baden-Württemberg for the expansion of renewable energies and the promotion of sustainable energy solutions. The installation of photovoltaic systems on state buildings not only make a contribution to the energy transition, but also make public buildings into showpiece objects for ecological construction.
The visit to the photovoltaic systems in Karlsruhe shows that the state of Baden-Württemberg is on the right track to achieve its climate targets and to promote the use of renewable energies. The investment in photovoltaic systems on state buildings will not only promote sustainable energy supply, but also strengthen the awareness of climate protection among the population.
