New President of the Karlsruhe Administrative Court

Christian Pohl is the new president of the Karlsruhe Administrative Court. He follows Gudrun Schraft-Huber, who had retired at the end of 2022.

Christian Pohl is the new president of the Administrative Court Karlsruhe and follows Gudun Schraft-Huber at the end of last year. Minister of the judiciary and for migration Marion Gentges congratulated Marion Gentges and wished Christian Pohl every success and joy for his new task. Pohl changes from the Administrative Court of Stuttgart, where he was last vice president.

Pohl is regularly a speaker for the state of Baden-Württemberg at the German Richter Academy. In addition, he regularly conducts cross -jurisdiction training events on the subject of "official assessments and assessment amounts".

Christian Pohl

Pohl was born in 1977 in Burg, Saxony-Anhalt. He studied law at the Martin Luther University Halle-Wittenberg. This was followed by a degree in commercial law. In 2005 he entered the higher judicial service at the Sigmaringen Administrative Court, whereupon he was seconded to the Ministry of Justice and for migration in 2007. According to stations at the Federal Constitutional Court and the Baden-Württemberg Administrative Court, among other things, a delegation to the Ministry of Justice and for Migration, where he was head of the department for the staff of specialist jurisdiction and service law. In August 2020, Pohl was appointed Vice President of the Stuttgart Administrative Court.
