dr. Nikolas Blanke becomes the new president of the Offenburg

On August 1, 2023, Dr. Nikolas Blanke Blanke's office of President of the President of the Correction (JVA) Offenburg. He succeeds Hans-Peter Wurdak, who was retired by Justice Minister Marion Gentges.

The Offenburg correctional facility was opened in May 2009 and is the latest institution in Baden-Württemberg. It comprises a total of 538 detention places and is a multifunctional institution for various starties, including a social therapy department.
