Bwegt takes part in the CSD in Stuttgart

Bwegt participates for the first time at Christopher Street Day in Stuttgart

Stuttgart, July 29, 2023-In a historical step, the mobility brand Bwegt will take part in this year's Christopher Street Day in Stuttgart. The CSD, which takes place on July 29, stands for diversity, equal rights, freedom and respect for all people. At the same time, he sets a clear sign against hate and violent acts.

The participation of Bwegt was announced by Elke Zimmer, the State Secretary in the Ministry of Transport. She explained that hatred and agitation should not have a place in our society. The goal is that local and regional traffic in Baden-Württemberg can be used safely by all people, regardless of their origin, social position, age, physical impairment as well as sexual or gender identity. In addition, the staff of the rail traffic companies should also feel safe and comfortable at their workplace.

The CSD parade in Stuttgart is one of the largest in Germany and is under the motto "Not with us! Safe and strong together." Bwegt will take part in the move with its own parade car and a foot group and thus send a clear message: "Acceptance and equal rights for everyone: Diversity always has free travel in public transport!"

The participation of Bwegt in the CSD is an important step for the Baden-Württemberg Transport Society. It is the first time that the company takes part in such an event and thus publicly speaks for diversity and tolerance. With the presence at the CSD, Bwegt clearly shows that she wants to create an inclusive and non -discriminatory environment for both passengers and for your employees.

The Christopher Street Day is a worldwide event that is reminiscent of the 1969 Stonewall riots in New York. Since then, the CSD has been taking place annually and is celebrated by the LGBT+community and its allies. In Germany, the CSD events have a long tradition and take place in many cities to draw attention to the rights and concerns of LGBTQ+

The participation of Bwegt at the CSD in Stuttgart will undoubtedly send a strong message to the LGBTQ+ community and to the entire society. It is a step towards a more inclusive and tolerant society in which everyone can be equal and free. We can be excited to see what further measures will take in the future to promote your tolerance and diversity.
