French auxiliary convoy on the Stuttgart exhibition center
Minister Strobl welcomes the French auxiliary convoy in Baden-Württemberg. On the 2,200 km drive towards Romania/Ukraine, the auxiliary convoy stops overnight on the Stuttgart exhibition center.
"War in Ukraine brings endless suffering. It is important that we help and determine together. The EU has a clear voice and a strong attitude. Therefore I am pleased that we can support our French friends in Baden-Württemberg today. Today and here and shows that the future lies in the solidarity of the peoples and not in their hostile clashes, ”said Minister Strobl at the reception at the Stuttgart exhibition center.
The French auxiliary convoy started today with around 120 firefighters and more than 50 vehicles on its 2,200 km trip towards Romania/Ukraine. On board there are 49 tons of relief goods, including fire protection equipment, helmets, fire brigade hoses and medical relief supplies such as gloves and bandages/bandages. The convoy is completed by fire and rescue vehicles that were donated throughout France.
The auxiliary convoy makes its first stop at the Stuttgart Messe A. Rescue Services SSB shuttle buses to a nearby hotel or to the airport THW-Ortersverband Neuhausen drove to the fields. The Common Mereit- und Lagezentrum THW state association organized.
