Expansion of the sewage treatment plant in Vörbach receives state support
The sewage treatment plant in Vörbach is funded by the state with almost 4.8 million euros to set up a fourth cleaning level. This expansion enables trace substances such as pharmaceutical, washing and cleaning residues as well as hormones from the wastewater in the future.
This message is particularly gratifying for the Oberes Waldachtal Wastewater Association, as the state government generously supports the project. With the fourth cleaning level, the sewage treatment plant in Vörbach will be able to remove phosphorus and trace fabrics even more effectively from the wastewater. The funding of almost 4.8 million euros enables the Wastewater Association to implement these important environmental protection measures.
In terms of funding, Environment Minister Thekla Walker also expressed itself positively. She emphasized that the Oberes Waldachtal sewage association consistently acts in wastewater treatment with this sustainable and future -oriented investment. These measures are crucial to effectively protect the environment and improve water protection.
The fourth cleaning level was introduced to protect the Waldach, a river near Vörbach. A feasibility study was carried out for this purpose. The study determined the best possible methods to remove trace fabrics from the wastewater. As a result, a cloth filter was developed, which runs through the entire wastewater of the sewage treatment plant. In addition, a GAK up-current filter is used via which the so-called maximum dry weather outflow is guided.
The implementation of these new technologies shows that the Oberes Waldachtal Waldachtal Waldachtal Association gives environmental protection highest priority. Through the financial support of the country, these advanced wastewater treatment procedures can be implemented. As a result, not only physical contaminants such as drug and cleaning residues are removed, but also environmentally harmful substances such as hormones that can also be contained in the waste water.
These measures are an important step to improve water protection and to maintain water quality. The Oberes Waldachtal sewage association thus takes on a pioneering role in environmental protection and is actively committed to sustainable and future -oriented wastewater treatment.
