Five new communities in the development program of rural areas

The country has included five new focus on the development program of rural areas. Since the introduction of the concept of the focus in the program year 2015, over 1,300 measures have already been funded in the recognized communities.

A total of 27 municipalities currently benefit from the development program of rural areas (ELR) from recognition as a focus community and the associated priority support and increased funding rates in common good -oriented projects.

more than 75 million euros in funding since 2015

Since the introduction of the concept of the focus in the program year 2015, over 1,300 measures in the recognized municipalities have already been selected for funding and over 75 million euros in funding. Also for the upcoming ELR program decision, numerous projects from the four funding focuses on interior development/living, basic care, community facilities and work for funding are again.

Like all of the communities interested in an ELR funding, the new focus on September 30, 2022 has time to submit their admission applications with the projects that are upcoming next year. The focus of the tender of the ELR annual program 2023 is again the creation of contemporary affordable housing and projects to secure basic care.
