"In the refrigerator and in the shopping basket - society is not shared"

And what else could Corona do?" - is highly topical and the current concern and explosiveness promises an interesting discussion that has experienced that the established event format has a premiere due to Corona: digital pleasure summit! The columnist and author Christian Seiler from Vienna held the keynote at the first digital amusement summit. "Essen divides society again. A culinary society is created with two to three classes. Because there is a terrible connection between cheap nutrition and its health consequences. Poor social classes in particular are affected by these problems. The ability to enjoy, cook and eat healthy is a problem for the entire society," said Christian Seiler in his keynote.
against the background of this social analysis of our nutritional and enjoyment culture and in particular against the background of the effects of coronaemy on their respective industries and the associated challenges, the President of Dehoga Baden-Württemberg: Fritz Engelhardt , the board member of FBW Association for quality products from Baden-Württemberg EV , Marian Kopp and the managing director of Edeka southwest , Jürgen Mäder, the resulting need for action and change as well as opportunities to promote sustainable eating culture as far as possible in society.
award ceremony for the Baden-Württemberg ambassador for pleasure
As an ambassador in Baden-Württemberg, personalities, companies and in individual cases actor associations are chosen. These usually come from the areas of production, processing and marketing food, media, gastronomy and tourism as well as training and further education institutions in Baden-Württemberg. As a rule, two award winners have been elected every year since 2008, and public prizes have been awarded at the amusement summit since 2012. The price has already been awarded 41 times. In 2020, the following were honored as ambassadors: the Rombach family from Hotel & Restaurant Sonne in Kirchzarten and Markus Kaiser from Goldbachhof in Bernau.
family Rombach stands for sustainable inn culture. The family leads the Hotel & Restaurant Sonne in Kirchzarten in the seventh generation with passion and sustainability. According to her own statements, she tries to take into account not only entrepreneurial, but also social and ecological criteria in her decisions. As a “nature park host”, the Rombachs not only point out the special features of the region with regional products, but also specifically support the farms in the southern Black Forest. The hosts of the nature park offer at least three regional dishes and a regional menu all year round. “Regional” means that the main ingredients come from the nature park. In addition to the regional menu, the house impresses with its individual rooms and an extensive selection of wines. Cooperation with local hunters is another feature.
Markus Kaiser is a board member of the Black Forest Bio-Weidevieh producer group. At the Goldbachhof in Bernau, he holds pasture cattle, which is raised and fattened according to the guidelines "Jungweidehvieh from suckler cow husbandry". Together with the Black Forest producer group, he has developed organic pasture vieh and has been successfully implementing innovative marketing strategies together with Edeka Südwest, especially the Edeka Schmidts branches. The label user of the Baden-Württemberg organic label is therefore a consistent sponsor of regional value chains. The producer group also supplies the "nature park hosts" in the southern Black Forest. By building such regional structures and value chains, the valuable cultural landscapes can be cultivated and preserved economically, especially since grazing with cattle in particular strengthens the biological diversity and grassland protection.
