New online procedures for wine accompanying documents simplified bureaucracy for wine-growing companies
The electronic wine-minded document procedure (EWEINBV) now transfers regular operation after a successful pilot phase. This procedure enables the companies of the wine industry to digitally display, manage and transmit documents online.
Minister of nutrition, rural areas and consumer protection Peter Hauk emphasized the advantages of the new procedure: “With the professional accompaniment of the project and the post-use contract, we have created the basis to introduce a system that is uniform in Germany. Online service automatically takes over the shipping to registered recipients and the responsible bodies of wine monitoring. ”
The new Internet portal online service winegrowing makes it easier for the wine industry to create the documents. The wine accompanying document is required, for example, for the transportation of non-filled wine-growing products in containers with a nominal volume of more than 60 liters and contains important data regarding the date, type and scope of transport.
The electronic wine-minded document procedure was developed in the course of the implementation of the online access law (OZG) to digitize administrative services. In Baden-Württemberg, this online service is free of charge for all participating companies. Minister Hauk emphasized: "So that everyone benefits from it is now an important goal that as many winegrowing companies as possible use this electronic process."
The introduction of the electronic procedure should have a significant impact on the wine industry's companies. The digitization and automation of the processes simplify bureaucratic processes and the postal shipping of the documents is eliminated. Integrated plausibility tests should also prevent input errors. This can help save time and resources and increase the efficiency of the companies. The relief in dealing with documents could also encourage other companies to use the procedure and thus promote digitization in the wine industry.
