The school attempt is created for four years

Prerequisite for the participation of a primary school in the model experiment is an application from the school, the approval of the overall teacher conference and the school conference as well as the advisory test in the parents' advisory board. It is also ensured that the school attempt does not take place against the will of the parents. If individual parents do not want their child to take part in the school attempt, a change to another primary school is exceptionally permitted. In principle, a change to a school participating in the pilot project is also possible.
