New agreement signed for the Prevention Program Class2000

The country has signed an updated framework agreement for the Prevention Program Class 20000 together with representatives of the Baden-Württemberg Lions Club. For many primary schools in the country, class2000 is now part of the pedagogical inventory.

The focus is on the imparting of social skills

For the implementation of the program, 15 lessons are offered to the most important health and life skills per school year, of which two to three hours are designed by the specially trained external class 20000 health promoters. So that teachers can also use the program successfully, they receive comprehensive concepts. In addition, the pupils receive a class2000 booklet every year with tips and methods for healthy eating, movement, balance and well-being for at home.

Gosses by class2000 is the non -profit association program class2000 EV based in Nuremberg. Around 620 Lions Clubs are currently supporting the program financially and ideally, for example by informing about class2000 on site and getting involved in the search for sponsors. In Baden-Württemberg, the prevention program is already being used at 563 schools, of which 64 schools are certified as class 2,000 schools, there are 403 certified schools nationwide.
