Baden-Württemberg further expands the promotion of artificial intelligence (AI) and supports the “FRAI.accelerator” project with around 750,000 euros. The state provides a total of up to 15 million euros for the construction of regional AI excellence centers. These centers are intended to serve companies, founders, advisory institutions and science as a contact person and accompany the entire innovation process from basic research to market strips. The project "Frai.accelerator" is implemented by the consortial partners Grünhof 3000 GmbH, Badencampus GmbH & Co. KG and Freiburg Wirtschaft Touristik und Messe GmbH & Co. KG (FWTM). Companies are to be supported in the development of AI-based solutions and business models. Smaller and medium -sized companies in particular should benefit from research to practice from technology transfer. Workshops, coaching and prototyping measures should be able to recognize and use their potential for AI. The project focuses primarily on solutions with a high social influence in the areas of energy and health.
