Baden-Württemberg presents itself with its own joint stand on the Arab Health, the world's second largest trade fair for health and medicine, in Dubai. The state is with a total of 96 companies, 47 of them at the joint stand of the country, the most represented exhibitors at the fair.
State Secretary Dr. Patrick Rapp has traveled to the United Arab Emirates (VAE) to visit Baden-Württemberg exhibitors at the Arab Health. It emphasizes the importance of the VAE as a hub in international trade, especially in the area of medical technology. The planned investments of governments in new hospitals and clinics as well as an increasing demand for health-related products and services open up promising business opportunities for Baden-Württemberg companies.

In 2022 exports to VAE amounted to 1.18 billion euros and accounted for around 15.6 percent in federal export.
