Eleven other companies receive clipping funding
More eleven young companies in Baden-Württemberg receive a funding from the program Start-up BW pre-seeed . With this program, the Ministry of Economics, Labor and Tourism supports together with the L-Bank start-ups with innovative business ideas.
"Good ideas bring the country forward. It is encouraging that entrepreneurs also take the step into the start -up in the start of crisis. We are happy to support them. We want and have to show the entrepreneurs and our economy that we are behind them," said Dr. Nicole Hoffmeister-Kraut, Minister of Economics, Labor and Tourism, on the occasion of the further promotion of companies in Baden-Württemberg under the program Start-up BW Pre-Seed.
14 applications were available to the central decision-making committee for the Start-up BW Pre-Seed program in the second selection round 2023; Eleven of the submitted corporate concepts proved to be eligible and can receive financial support from the country in the early phase of their foundation. "Pre-Seed starts at a time when young companies are most urgently dependent on support: before the company can write its first profits and is still looking for structure and stability," explained L-Bank boss Edith Weymayr. "Investments are necessary in this early start -up phase, but investors are still reluctant."

- Perspective Care GmbH , Walzbachtal-Development and Distribution of Soft and Hardware in the inpatient and outpatient care as well as ambient assisted living
- Rhome GmbH , Stuttgart-platform for the management of International Remote Work
- Sensing GmbH , Karlsruhe-IoT solutions in Managed-Service
- Solarhub GmbH , Freiburg-Development and operation of software solutions (SAAS) for planning and planning for regenerative energy solutions

For the selection process, all founders have submitted their respective company concept in writing and personally presented the decision -making body. The basic prerequisite for funding is the Baden-Württemberg cover for the entire funding period and the support by a childcare partner. The total financing is usually 200,000 euros, of which up to 80 percent of the country and 20 percent come from a co-investor. In a first selection round in February 2023, eight young companies had already received a funding commitment.
Start-up bw pre-seed
With the program Start-up BW Pre-Seed, the state of Baden-Württemberg has been promoting founding projects since 2018. Seven million euros are available for this in 2023 and 2024. So far, more than 200 young innovative companies have been supported in all parts of the country through the program.
The L-Bank coordinates the program together with the Ministry of Economic Affairs and is responsible for the payment of the funding and examination of the use after successful approval of the applications. A central decision-making body consisting of representatives of the Ministry of Economic Affairs, L-Bank, the childcare partner and the state companies or the state-related investments decides on the eligibility of a start-up.
