Land promotes projects for the further development of televisites in care facilities

The state of Baden-Württemberg promotes projects for the further development of televisites in nursing facilities with around 1.7 million euros. This measure is an important step towards modern, networked and people -centered care. By using televisites, the interaction between care facilities and the medical profession is more effective in order to improve the care of those in need of care and to ensure faster. At the same time, this contributes to relieving the nursing staff.

The funded projects enable care facilities to virtually use medical consultations with the help of modern technology. This means that residents of care facilities do not have to visit extra medical practices and still receive high -quality care. The projects address central challenges in the field of long -term care, such as the shortage of skilled workers, cross -sector communication, the restricted mobility of people in need of care and the efficient use of resources.

Social and Health Minister Manne Lucha emphasized that televisites are an important building block in the context of digitization in nursing. The selected six projects are carried out by various organizations, including the AOK Baden-Württemberg, the Medical Care Center II of the district clinics Reutlingen gGmbH and the district office Bodenseekreis.

A steering group was used to support the projects consisting of the state competence center nursing & digitization, the coordination office telemedicine and the development center Gut Altwerden GmbH. This group offers advice, support, coaching and workshops on ethical, technical and data protection law questions.

Furthermore, an entire evaluation of the projects is promoted in order to record the financial expenses of the introduction of televisites in inpatient long -term care and to describe processes and structures for telemedical visits. The findings are intended to further promote the takeover of televisites in regular care.

The promotion of projects for the further development of televisites in nursing facilities is an important step to improve the quality of care, to make the supply more effectively and to relieve the nursing staff. Digitization in nursing is further advanced by such measures and contributes to the modernization of the healthcare system.
