Semanux team convinces at the start-up BW Elevator Pitch 2024

The "Semanux" team convinced with its innovative business idea at the "Start-up BW Elevator Pitch 2024" and thus secured a place in the state finals. The founders presented their "Semanux Access" software, which enables people with motor restrictions to operate computers with head movements instead of mouse and keyboard.

The competition, organized by the Ministry of Economics, Labor and Tourism Baden-Württemberg, aims to find the most creative business ideas and most talented founders in the country. By participating in the “Start-up BW Elevator Pitch”, the founders are given the opportunity to present their business models to the public at an early stage and to establish important contacts for the further development of their companies.

Minister of Economic Affairs Dr. Nicole Hoffmeister-Kraut praised the "Semanux" team for their success and emphasized the importance of founders for the economy. She underlined the role of the state campaign "Start-up BW" as support for innovative Start-ups in Baden-Württemberg.

At the regional cup "4c check-up", the nine teams stood in front of a specialist jury that had to be convinced. The “Semanux” team was able to impress the jury with its business idea and its product and thus qualify for the state finals.

The "Start-up BW Elevator Pitch" requires a clear business idea, a specific plan and an innovative implementation from the participants. The criteria for participation in the competition are strict but justified to promote and support the best talents in the country.

Participation in the state finale offers "Semanux" the opportunity to present yourself to a larger audience and to inspire potential investors and partners. The success of the team shows that Baden-Württemberg is a fertile soil for innovative start-ups and that the promotion of young entrepreneurs is crucial for the future of the country's economy.
