Environmental Technology Prize 2023 advertised

The country advertised the environmental technology award 2023. From now on, Baden-Württemberg-based companies can apply with their future-oriented products and procedures for the environmental technology award.

Application phase for the Environmental Technology Prize A branch in Baden-Württemberg can apply for the 2023 environmental technology award. For the eighth time, the Baden-Württemberg Ministry of Environment is writing this competition with 100,000 euros in prize money. The price will be awarded to companies in the country that make a significant contribution to the protection of the environment or to protect natural resources with their innovative products, technologies and procedures. Application deadline is on April 21, 2023.

Four categories and a special price

"Many companies in the country are committed to the environmental and climate-friendly economy. With the development of innovative processes and products, they take on an important role on the way to a climate-neutral future and at the same time strengthen the business location of Baden-Württemberg. We appreciate this effort with the environmental technology award," emphasized Environment Minister Theekla Walker in Stuttgart.

The Baden-Württemberg Environmental Technology Award is awarded in the following four categories: "Energy Efficiency", "Material Efficiency", "Reduction of Emission, Training and Preparation" and "Measurement, Tax and Regular Technology, Industry 4.0". Within the four categories, the jury awards an additional special price that is based on current environmental challenges.

The ceremonial award ceremony will take place on October 24, 2023.

The Environmental Technology Award Baden-Württemberg

The Ministry of the Environment, Climate and Energy Industry Baden-Württemberg has been awarding the Baden-Württemberg Environmental Technology Award every two years since 2009. The price is awarded for excellent and innovative products and procedures in environmental technology.

Established are companies based or a branch in Baden-Württemberg. Products that make a significant contribution to resource efficiency and environmental protection are awarded and are on the market shortly before the market launch.

In contrast to the environmental price, which the Ministry has awarded since 1993, the Environmental Technology Award is characterized by a product or procedure for its special environmental performance. The environmental orientation of the entire company or location is assessed in the environmental price.
