Together strong for more energy efficiency: six new networks founded in Baden-Württemberg

Six new energy efficiency and climate protection networks founded in Baden-Württemberg

As part of the nationwide initiative of energy efficiency and climate protection networks, six new networks were launched in Baden-Württemberg. These networks consist of a total of 41 companies that will deal together for at least two years with the increase in energy efficiency in their companies. The aim is to develop measures to reduce energy consumption and save costs.

Participation in an energy efficiency and climate protection network offers companies the opportunity to significantly increase their energy efficiency through knowledge exchange, experience, networking with experts, cooperation and the use of synergies. In order to make the start for interested companies more attractive, the Ministry of the Environment, Climate and Energy Industry Baden-Württemberg has increased the funding for participation in such networks. Companies can now receive financial support of up to 10,000 euros, which corresponds to an increase to 75 percent per participating company.

The central support center as part of the Energy Efficiency and Climate Protection Networks project Baden-Württemberg accompanies the establishment of the networks and also supports the successful course of the networks in the state. This support center is located at Environmental Technology Baden-Württemberg GmbH.

The effects of these new networks could be far -reaching. By working together to increase energy efficiency, the companies involved can not only save costs, but also make a contribution to climate protection. The promotion by the state of Baden-Württemberg facilitates companies access to these networks and thus promotes sustainable development in the field of energy efficiency and climate protection.
