E.Optimum supports Offenburger Tafel with a donation of 5,000 euros!
The Offenburger Tafel gets double reason to be happy this year: two generous donations support the important work of the facility, which takes care of families in need. The first donation comes from E.Optimum, which presented a check for 5,000 euros on St. Nicholas Day. Boris Käser, board member of the company, and marketing manager Barbara Toma handed over the sum personally, with which over 330 tutoring hours can be financed for children from table families. As is emphasized in a press release from E.Optimum, the company is of great concern to support the commitment of the Offenburger Tafel and to make a contribution to improving living conditions in the region instead of sending traditional Christmas presents to business partners, reported bo.de
The second donation of 3,000 euros comes from the employees of the Burda Medien-Park publishers. This sum was collected as part of the "Lust for Enjoyment" trade fair and handed over to Ilse Herberg from the Offenburger Tafel. This donation will also help to continue to offer food at symbolic prices, which is essential support for many needy in the region. The donations from both sources show the commitment of many that ensure that the necessary help remains in the community, such as reported.
Diverse support for needy families
The Offenburger Tafel has been offering tutoring in subjects such as mathematics, German and English since 2014, supported by committed pensioners and students to offer children from socially disadvantaged families better opportunities. With these two important donations, the team of the table can now further expand educational funding and offer additional activities for children. The gratitude towards the donors is great, and the table is happy to improve the education, but also the basic care of the people in the region.
