Farmers' protests: Gresser and Martin lead free voters in Wangen!

The waves of the peasant protests hit up! Albert Gresser and Florian Martin, two committed farmers from the Allgäu, have decided to enter the political stage. After months of intensive conversations and the feeling of not finding enough hearing, they dared to take the step to strengthen the voice of farmers in politics. Gresser, who comes from Neuravensburg, is now a spokesman for all farmers in Westallgäu, while Martin coordinates the Leutkirch interests.

New board of the Free Voters

At the latest district party conference of the Free Voters in Ravensburg, Gresser and Martin were elected to the foremost offices: Gresser as chairman and Martin as his deputy. Anne Gresse takes over the office of treasurer, while Christoph Zinstein acts as secretary. The previous board did not start again. "With Albert Gresser we have a well -networked farmer at the top who knows the challenges of agriculture," says state treasurer Ralf Wendel in a press release.

In view of the upcoming Bundestag election, the free voters want to bundle their strength and present themselves as a fresh alternative to the established parties. Gresser criticizes: "They had their chance for years and did not use them. Anyone who chooses them again opts for a 'keep it up' instead of real changes."
