Ethics lessons up close: Students experience life behind bars!
Ravensburg, Deutschland - An extraordinary excursion led the ethics course in class 13 of the Ludwig Erhard School in Sigmaringen to the Ravensburg correctional facility. On December 22, 2024, the pupils experienced up close what life behind bars looks like. Accompanied by their teachers, Tanja Braun and Thomas Harjung, they went through strict security controls and received a comprehensive introduction to the nine hectare institution. The young people learned that prisoners can work in areas such as a car workshop or carpenter.
The idea of a drug detection dog that demonstrated his skills in a demonstration was particularly impressive.
