1. Requirements & promotions: DGB calls for the Maikrädtung in Bonn to 2024

The German Trade Union Confederation (DGB) and its member unions are also calling for demos, rallies and colorful promotions throughout the Federal Republic this year on the day of work in 2024. The debt brake is criticized as an investment brake and reforms are required to strengthen the welfare state.

The situation in the health professions is particularly concerned with the rally in Bonn. It is pointed out that many hospitals are threatened by bankruptcy and that the federal and state governments are required to stop uncontrolled clinic death.
