Excellent para swimmer: Gala event in Bonn celebrates outstanding services

Elena Semechin and Taliso Engel were awarded the gala of the German Disabled Sports Association (DBS) in the Telekom Forum in Bonn as a para athlete of 2024. Both swimmers won gold medals at the Paralympic Games in Paris 2024 and prevailed in their respective categories. This honor is a significant recognition of their outstanding achievements.

The gala, which took place as part of the DBS, not only emphasized the individual successes of Semechin and Engel, but also praised the team of wheelchair basketball players, who won a bronze medal in the past games and was thus back on the podium after 32 years.
