Bad Godesberg (AS). The high school graduates of the 2025 vintage experienced an unforgettable festival during the final festival on the Rigal’s Wiese in Bad Godesberg. The entire parking lot was closed to the event, which only intensified the anticipation and the festive mood. Many students came with colorful cars, including convertibles that had been prepared for this special occasion. The vehicles were decorated with water tone, which underlined the creative design of the high school dining.

The participants had decorated their vehicles with first names, mottos and colorful balloons, which showed belonging to the respective schools. The area around the stage was surrounded by a converted area on which the high school graduates danced and celebrated. A DJ ensured musical accompaniment that stimulated to celebrate. The event was observed by police officers and employees of the city of Bonn's regulatory office to ensure the security of the celebrations.

It was particularly noticeable that a large Bad Godesberg flag was swung across the crowd, while another participant presented an oversized school bag-a nostalgic symbol that reminded of the first day of school many years ago. Passers -by, especially seniors, reminiscent and remembered their own graduation celebrations, where they organized autocorsos and celebrated with other schools.

The Rigal’s meadow has been attracting high school graduates from Bonn for over twenty years. With original mottos and creatively designed final sweaters, the students present themselves in a new way every year. Examples of this are "007-mission fulfilled" by the Otto Kühne School and "Ferrabi-to the finish at full throttle" from the Beethoven-Gymnasium. The high school graduates of the Amos Comenius High School chose their motto "high school graduates-we waddle away" what makes the diversity of the celebrations clear.

More than 1,000 young graduates came to a celebration, organized by the sponsoring associations Caritas and Diakonie as well as other partners who also ensured responsible celebrations. In addition to entertaining activities, the participants at a special information stand with deckchairs were also given the opportunity to relax and get information about the responsibility of alcohol and drugs. This commitment shows that festivities are not only in the sign of celebration, but also pay attention to the health and safety of the participants.
