Christian B. - Doubts of credibility of witnesses

In the trial against Christian B., who is suspected in the Maddie of Murder, focus is on the credibility of the stress witnesses. A couple, consisting of a 51-year-old woman and a 61-year-old man, contradicted the central witness before the Braunschweig district court. They stated not to know the man, which was considered the main tasting witness, even though he spoke of a mutual acquaintance.

Christian B. is accused of three rapes and two cases of sexual abuse of children in Portugal in the Braunschweig process. The stress witness claims to have seen two of the rapes on videos and recognized the accused. However, the women concerned could not be determined and the videos have disappeared. The witness claims to have seen the videos in his caravan and showed another witness. But the couple, which is evident in front of the court, categorically exclude a connection to the witness and his caravan.

The defense argues that the main loads of pollution are not credible due to their contradictory statements. Christian B. is already serving a seven -year prison sentence for rape an American in Portugal. The internationally known case Maddie, in which the girl disappeared in 2007 and was suspected of murder in Christian B., is not the subject of the current procedure. The presumption of innocence applies.
