"were immediately on the same wavelength": Paradiso takes over Fortuna Bonn

Fortuna Bonn has made an important personnel decision: Dario Paradiso will be the new head coach of the first team in the 2025/26 season. He succeeds Idris Dogan, who returns for private reasons. Paradiso brings extensive experience in football, both in the senior and the youth area. His goal will be to promote and develop the young and talented team.

The 45-year-old Paradiso is known in the Middle Rhine football association. He started in the youth area before taking over the coaching position at VfL Leverkusen in the Landesliga 1 in 2017. This was followed by stations at the TSC Euskirchen and the SpVG Wesseling-Urfeld. Most recently, he celebrated the promotion from the district league to the Landesliga in the 2022/23 season with SV Kurdistan Düren.

Jörg Henkel, the sporting director of the association, was enthusiastic about the cooperation with Paradiso: “We were immediately on a wavelength.

In his new role, Paradiso is optimistic and refers to the good infrastructure and the potential of the talented players. He is already active in the planning phase for the coming season, which includes visits to games and first discussions on the management of the squad. The focus is also on the compilation of a competent trainer team in order to start the new season with promising enthusiasm.

Despite the preparations for the new round, the focus will be on the current season for the time being. Fortuna Bonn wants to collect as many points as possible while the team is working towards the changes in summer. The upcoming challenge will be decisive for the future of the association.
