The city of Bonn invites the citizens of the Combahn district and the Beuel Center to an important dialogue event that deals with the Combahn district - Bönnsche district. This event will take place on May 15, 2025 in the Ratsaal of the Beueler Rathaus and offers residents the opportunity to actively participate in the design of their living environment.

In 2022, the city council Bonn decided to promote sustainable mobility in urban residential areas. In this initial, the Bönnsche district project is central, which, through a comprehensive participation process, invites you to collect the ideas and wishes of the residents. The process started in 2023 and provides for various formats that facilitate the exchange between city administration, experts and citizens.

Based on the data collected, Bonn commissioned the IKS Mobility Planning engineering office to create a sustainable concept for the Combahn district. The focus is on measures to reduce through traffic and an improved organization of parking. During the dialog event, the proposed measures are explained and put up for discussion, so that the residents are directly involved in the decision -making process.

The event not only offers a room for information, but also for active participation. It is pointed out that a prior registration is required due to the limited number of participants. This procedure ensures the best possible organization and enables targeted discussion.

The results of the event are documented and flow into the revision of the neighborhood concept. The final concept is then presented to the Beuel district council for the vote. The city of Bonn would like to ensure that the concerns of the residents are taken into account in order to improve the quality of life in the conglomeration district.
