Burglaries in the pine bush: Police asks for information on Easter thefts

In the Bonn district of Tannenbusch, several burglaries have been recorded in the past few days. The police report a total of six burglaries, which have mainly occurred around the Easter weekend. The accumulation of the incidents and the kind is particularly worrying and that the unknowns seem to be specifically in private living space.
The first reported incident occurred on April 19, 2025, as the resident of a ground floor apartment on Hohe Strasse came up when they return to the apartment on signs of a burglary. The perpetrators had violently opened the balcony door and stolen cash. A similar method was also applied in a further case, where burglars between 15 and April 20 penetrated the building on Memelweg. However, the exact assets that were stolen from this apartment are still unclear.
In addition to these burglaries, a resident on Stolpstrasse became aware of suspicious activities on Easter Monday when an unknown person tried to penetrate a neighboring apartment. The perpetrator fled after he was noticed. This observation could be important for the investigation by the criminal police. The police therefore ask for information from possible witnesses or people who noticed suspicious vehicles or people near the crime scene.Another incident occurred on April 21, when two additional burglaries were reported in the Memelweg. In an empty apartment, the burglars remained without prey, while another apartment was stolen in cash and a PTB weapon. In another case on Lübener Weg, unknown persons entered a high -parter apartment between 19 and 21 April and stole cash and gold jewelry.
The investigation in these cases was taken over by the responsible criminal commissioner 13, which also examines a possible connection between the burglaries. In view of the increasing number of burglaries in Bonn, it is advisable to remain vigilant and, if necessary, take security measures. The authorities hope for information from the population to counteract these offenses and prevent further burglaries.
