North Rhine-Westphalia may not be famous for its waterfalls, but the Region in North Rhine-Westphalia and Rhineland-Palatinate offers some hidden treasures to discover and explore. One of these treasures is the triad waterfall in the Vulkaneifel. This waterfall, located south of Ahütte, rises up to twelve meters and is called the "growing waterfall" due to its constant enlargement. Every year it grows by about ten centimeters and impresses visitors with his natural beauty.
Another highlight is the victory waterfall at Windeck Schladern in the Rhein-Sieg district, which is considered the largest waterfall in North Rhine-Westphalia.
