In this exhibition, 16 of their works, which are mainly kept in the colors pink and pink, are composed of a larger work of art.

Sophie, who lives with the genetic peculiarity of Trisomy 21, has a permanent job in Bonn, where she works in a workshop of Lebenshilfe. Despite its professional obligations, painting has always been an important part of their life. As a child, she started painting and further developed her skills over the years.

Unique painting style and techniques

The art of Sophie is characterized by its individual handwriting. It uses various materials such as pastel chalks, temperature colors, gouache and acrylic. Her works often arise from an intuitively structured approach, in which it also uses unconventional tools such as pine branches that she collects during walks. These techniques give your pictures a special texture.

The exhibited works show a mixture of harmonious color gradients and geometric shapes that are reminiscent of flower leaves. This type of presentation creates a dialogue between the colors and the shapes and stimulates the imagination of the viewer.

The exhibition is in the café "Where's Tom?" To see and offers an inviting space for all those interested in art. This is already Sophie's third exhibition, and she plans to continue to present her works in other places in the future, whereby she will certainly continue to create new inspiring art.
