Johanna Helene Hess in the Ludwiggalerie: Fascination Color

On April 13, 2023, the exhibition "Fascination Color" was opened by Johanna Helene Hess in Oberhausen Castle. This event is part of the “Parallel” project series of the Oberhausen Art Association and runs until June 9th. Johanna Helene Hess, born in Heidelberg in 1955, lives and works in Bonn. She received her artistic training at the State Academy of Fine Arts in Karlsruhe. Originally she started with sculpture, but soon discovered the colors for herself and developed painting into her preferred means of expression. Their approach shows that colors are a challenge for them that they clearly implement in their work.
