FDP 12-point position paper: Greens react calmly to demands

Andreas Audretsch, deputy group leader of the Greens in the Bundestag, commented on the 12-point position paper of the FDP, which was published before its party convention. He described the paper as full of folklore and clatter, typical of parties before party parliament, and emphasized that the FDP had the right to capture its positions. Nevertheless, Audretsch does not see any warning or explosives for the traffic light coalition.

He asked the coalition to concentrate on plans that have already been agreed together and emphasized that there was still a lot of work for the legislative period in front of them. As a greener, he is committed to raising the minimum wage by proposing a gradual increase to 14 euros by 2024 and 15 euros by 2025. According to Audretch, this is an incentive for more people to take up employment.

The Green Group Vice was optimistic that the coalition would continue to work well in the future and emphasized the government's responsibility to find solutions together. Audetsch emphasized that this had succeeded in the past and that he was confident that this time it would be possible. Overall, he sees the coalition in a positive cooperation and is convinced that it will be able to master the upcoming challenges.
