At Cologne/Bonn Airport, a 33-year-old German citizen experienced an unexpected incident on his trip to Turkey. During the passing exit control on the way to Antalya, the federal police officers discovered a significant amount of money the man carries with him.

As part of the controls, it was found that there was a tender against the traveler for the intervention order by the Wiesbaden public prosecutor. According to this legal order, it was an enforcement procedure in which the man was recorded as the debtor. The claim amounted to a total of EUR 6,416.00, of which he stated during his control, to carry around EUR 6,200.00.

The federal police officers handled the Situation as follows: they confiscated EUR 6,000 from the total amount and left the man only EUR 200. After this measure he was allowed to continue traveling so that he could still pursue his vacation trip.
