From Monday, April 28, 2025, the civil engineering office of the city of Bonn will begin with the repair of a section of the Pützchen Chaussee. The measure affects the area between Röhfeldstraße and the street in the Thelenpfand, where the road is subjected to a renewal. This work is part of a comprehensive program to improve the infrastructure in Bonn and should increase traffic safety and the quality of the streets.

As part of the renovation, channels and curbs are first realigned in order to optimize the flow of traffic. In addition, installation parts such as shaft covers must be adjusted. These preparatory measures are necessary to ensure a long -term durability of the new road surface.

Then the entire width of the road is covered with a new bituminous asphalt cover layer. This technology is used because it ensures a robust and durable surface that withstands the different weather conditions and the requirements of traffic.

For the duration of the work, the area between Röhfeldstraße and the street in the Thelenfand must be completely blocked. Detours are signposted accordingly to ensure that traffic is not unnecessarily affected. The construction costs amount to around 225,000 euros, and the implementation of the work is planned by the end of May 2025.

The renewal of the road on the Pützchens Chaussee is an important step to improve the infrastructure in Bonn. Such projects not only increase traffic safety, but also the quality of life of residents and road users.
