Cherry blossom and coffee: Bonn celebrates the opening of Per Tutti and Milo
Gastro scene Bonn: Two new addresses in the old town of Bonn
The old town of Bonn experiences a blossoming gastronomy hype these days, which is supplemented by the picturesque sight of flowering cherry trees. Passers -by who stroll through the streets are attracted to the lively atmosphere, which was particularly noticeable during the cherry blossom festival. In this festive context, two new cafés have opened their doors and thus enrich the city's culinary offer.
café "per tutti"
The café "Per Tutti", led by Gianluca Preto, has taken its location centrally in the old town of Bonn, where the "Café Blossom" was previously based. Preto, who moved to Bonn because of his partner, has extensive gastronomic experience, which he gained in a family business in Koblenz. When he arrived in Bonn in 2020, he initially worked in the "Café Galestro" before venturing into self -employment.
In the renovated premises, great importance was placed on an appealing design. The cooperation with the monument protection authority enabled original elements such as stucco and old masonry, which created an inviting ambience. The café has a large dining room for 35 guests and a terrace with another 24 places.
The focus of the menu is Italian treats, freshly baked cakes and a selected breakfast offer. The coffee beans come from their own roasting and the cake offer includes tempting variations, including a special cherry mascarpone cake for the cherry blossom season. The offer is rounded off by Italian wines and beers.
Café-Gelateria "Milo"
The "Milo" celebrated its opening just 200 meters away. The hosts Elvis Jakupi and Atilla Temizel, who also operate the Café Kauz on the Abbey Square, have modernized the former ice cream parlor "Ciao.ciao" for several weeks. In the newly designed café and gelateria, customers can enjoy a wide selection of Italian ice cream in different flavors, which is currently being supplemented by bagels and porridge.
The interior impresses with a bright, open design that gives the room an inviting feeling. A total of 40 inner and 20 terrace seats are available. The rather young but promising menu is soon to be expanded to include breakfast options to offer even more diversity for the guests.
Both new cafés in the old town of Bonn are a sign of the lively catering scene and invite you to combine the opening of the cherry blossom with culinary experiences.
