Dialogue series "About Art" of our newspaper: Claudia Emmert, what are their plans for the 16th Triennale Small Plastic and the Bonn Art Museum?
Claudia Emmert, the designated director of the Bonn Art Museum and curator of the 16th Triennale Small Plastic, will be a guest on May 13th in the Stuttgart State Gallery. In the "About Art" dialog series, she will present her views and plans for the upcoming projects. The triennale small plastic takes place in Fellbach from May 24th to September 28th and bears the topic "Habitaten. About_ Lifetime".
Emmert has already made a name for itself in the art scene, including as director of the Zeppelin Museum Friedrichshafen. Their innovative approach to art education and the integration of contemporary art into current debates are considered particularly formative. Under your leadership, the Zeppelin Museum has carried out several sensational exhibitions and projects that have opened new perspectives on classic topics.
For the Triennale in Fellbach, Emmert is planning to promote a dialogue about "new collective narratives" and "equal survival communities" together with her co-curator Ina Neddermeyer. These topics are particularly relevant at a time when artists are increasingly confronted with the challenges of today's world and are looking for answers that go beyond individual perspectives.
With her request for more courage in art education, Emmert sets new standards and emphasizes the importance of addressing digital realities in art language. Your preparations for the directorate in Bonn are already underway, and the art scene can be excited to see which impulses you will put there.
The event offers art lovers the opportunity to discuss with Emmert about their visions and future projects in Bonn and the upcoming triennial. Participation is free and interested parties are invited to register.
