This defeat with 0: 3 meant the first setback in the new year for the clover leaves that were previously unbeaten. Bonn, on the other hand, was able to further expand his lead with this victory and saw this as a significant step towards the championship.

BSC coach Sascha Glatzel was pleased with the performance of his team and regarded the victory as a significant success against a strong opponent. However, he emphasized that he did not see Lersmacher's dismissal as crucial for the outcome of the game. Rather, he emphasized the importance of the leadership for the course of the game.

Beeck's coach Mike Schmalenberg also commented on the game and emphasized that his team had not been unsuccessful despite the defeat. Despite the opponent's pressure, the players found some chances, but they remained unused.
