In a residential building in Bonn (NRW), a terrible act occurred in which a 39-year-old resident was fatally injured. The police reacted quickly and was able to arrest a suspect who had traces of blood on his clothing. The incident occurred late Saturday evening at 11 p.m. in the Prelate Schleich House dormitory in the Nordstadt Bonn. A witness informed the police about a physical argument in which a male person was seriously injured.

The on-site rescue and emergency services found the 39-year-old resident of the house lifeless in a room of the dormitory. Despite the emergency medical care, he was unable to succumb to his injuries and was transported to a clinic where he later died. Near the crime scene, a 34-year-old man was arrested by the police, in which visible traces of blood on body and clothing were found. The suspect is assigned to the living area of ​​the affected dormitory.

A homicide commission of the Bonn police and the Bonn public prosecutor are now investigating the exact circumstances of the crime. The forensic medical institute is also included in the further investigations. Further information will be announced on Monday.
