Presumed murderer of pensioner couple wanted: Police published the search for the Vasile Amariei

in Zülpich (NRW), a shocking act occurred in August 2023 when a gang of criminals broke into the house of a couple. The pensioners, 76 and 77 years old, were brutally attacked and life -threatening in the attack. While the woman survived the attack, her husband died in March 2024 from the consequences of the attack.

The Bonn police have now published a suspected murderer photo: Vasile Amariei, 38 years old, 1.69 meters tall, brown eyes and strong figure, with tattoos on the back, arms and shoulder. Amariei was arrested for the first time shortly after the crime, but then released again and has disappeared since then.

The investigators found that a three -member gang apparently had targeted the valuables of the pensioners. Two men and a woman were identified shortly after the crime, with one of the men already being on trial for murder and attempted murder. A judgment is expected at the beginning of May.

The woman and the 38-year-old Vasile Amariei were released from pre-trial detention due to a lack of evidence. However, new clues indicate that Amariei was involved in the crime, as the main hearing against his alleged accomplices before the Bonn district court showed. Another arrest warrant was issued and the Bonn public prosecutor's office was rewarded of 5000 euros for relevant information.
