Council decides on the development plan for new residential area in Dransdorf
The city of Dransdorf has taken a crucial step for creating a new residential area by approving the development plan for an approximately 47,800 square meter area. The area is limited in the north by Grootestrasse, in the east through Lenaustraße, in the south by part of the Mörikestrasse as well as the municipal Andreas-Schönmüller sports facility and in the west by areas of an allotment garden. On this site, the "Langen Massivhaus GmbH" is planning to build a low -car residential area with a total of around 340 residential units.
The planned residential units include 299 in storey and 41 row houses. The proportion of publicly funded and freely financed housing is even, with around 50 percent of the total gross floor area. This diversity in the living formats is designed to achieve different target groups and to promote a balanced neighborhood. The concept provides for a mixture of apartment buildings of different sizes and row houses for both rental and condominiums.
A central element of the planning area is the development concept, which provides for a connection via Grootestrasse and Lenaustraße. The multi-family and row houses are grouped around neighborhood farms that offer a room for social interactions and community activities. The freedom is designed with a special focus on ecological design, so that green interior areas within the farms are created. Measures to infiltrate rainwater are also the focus, whereby each farm is equipped with the corresponding infiltration troughs.
Another essential part of the project is the planned four -group daycare center, which deals with the high need for childcare places in Dransdorf. In addition, there is the possibility to replace the existing daycare center on Lenaustraße with a new building with up to six groups on two full floors. In addition, further residential uses could be created on the upper floors of the new building to increase the availability of living space.
With this planning, Dransdorf not only wants to create new living space, but also to increase the quality of life of future residents through a well thought -out and sustainable urban development. The combination of different forms of living and social institutions should help promote a lively and integrated living environment.
