Beyond office in the German University Association - German Medical Board
Prof. Dr. med. Heike Kielstein, Dean of the Medical Faculty of the Martin Luther University Halle-Wittenberg, has taken on an important position as the new Vice President of the German University Association (DHV). It was appointed during the 75th DHV day, which took place in Berlin at the end of March/early April. This position underlines the central role that Kielstein takes up in the German university landscape, especially in the medical field.
In her new function, Kielstein will participate in the regular presidium meetings of the DHV in Bonn and have a significant contribution to the creation of statements. Her medical training and recognition as a specialist in anatomy, which she obtained in 2004, support her qualifications and commitment in the academic and medical community.
The appointment of Prof. Dr. med. Heike Kielstein represents a significant step for the representation of the medical faculties in the DHV and could help promote the dialogue between universities and health professions in Germany.
