The specific structure and structure of the field hunter include three field hunter regiments and 25 field hunter service commands, which offer a comprehensive service network. This network enables continuous support and ensures the security of critical infrastructure within Germany and in international operations.

Hannover is referred to as the "field hunter capital" of Germany, since the command of Feldjäger, a school for field hunters and local units are located there. This central role not only supports the Bundeswehr, but also the Federal Ministry of Defense in its security policy tasks.
