New café in Bonn: Siegers Kiosk Café opened in the historic pavilion
The restaurateur couple Regina and Stephan Sieger opened the “Siegers Kiosk Café” in Bonn in January 2023 after they lost two local, five vehicles and their private apartment in July 2021. The café is in half of a pavilion from the 1950s, which previously housed a hairdressing salon. With the conversion of the kiosk, a cozy café with snack and table operation was created and offers space for a total of 60 guests, both indoors and on the terrace.
The interior of the kiosk impresses with an old pharmacy cabinet and a suitable counter from a pharmacy in Stuttgart from 1938. In the café area, vintage furniture from the 1950s is combined with robust industrial furniture. The thick central column of the pavilion has been decorated with a flower wallpaper, and the all-round window front offers guests the opportunity to watch the hustle and bustle on the street.
The menu of the "Sieger Kiosk Café" includes a variety of snack dishes such as currywurst with fries, schaschlik fries and various varieties of "Loaded Fries". Wraps, hearty crepes and a selection of twelve sauces are also offered. On the beverage menu there are, among other things, cappuccino, fresh mint tea, homemade lemonades and smoothies.
For the future, Regina (40) and Stephan (43) are planning to offer the winners in their café tastings and cabaret evenings. Siegers Kiosk Café is located in Feldpütz 3 (corner of Schiefelingsweg) in Bonn and is open from Monday to Friday from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Sundays from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. The café remains closed on Saturdays, except for events or closed companies.
