The completion of the basic building is planned for June 2025, whereby the parking garage will offer space for 477 cars and 83 bicycles. The planted facade is part of the environmental concept that IGUS follows during planning.

The city of Troisdorf has enabled the use of urban land in agreement with IGus to realize the company's vision. Although not all original plans can be implemented in full size, thanks to the cooperation with other property owners, the opportunity for adequate development have arisen. Particular attention is paid to the stylistic integration of the new part of the building in the existing architecture of Igus.

When developing the innovation center, attention is not only paid to economic aspects, but also to the preservation of the natural environment.
