Second JBBL team of the Baskets starts in Cologne

The Baskets Bonn have exciting news for basketball enthusiasts: a second JBBL team is founded in Cologne. This project is part of the associations of the association, whose reach to expand through new cooperation. Francesco Tubiana, the sporting director of Basket Bonn e.V., was optimistic about the potential that basketball offers in the region. The aim is to give young talents the opportunity to measure themselves at a high level without being restricted by logistical barriers.

This new JBBL team will be in terms of sport and technically closely connected to the existing basketball club, which gives players a clear view of a later career in the Bundesliga. This also offers young players from the Cologne area of a valuable platform to further develop their skills and actively participate in the young program of a recognized Bundesliga club. This represents an important step in talent promotion and addresses the needs of young players who want to stay in their home region.

Marian Reibert from the Rise and Grind Basketball Academy emphasizes the importance of this cooperation as a milestone for basketball in the Rhineland. Thanks to this initiative, talented players no longer have to change the location in order to receive optimal support. In addition to the offers of the sports clubs in the region, the Rise and Grind Academy offers intensive individual and small group training as well as international camps and tournaments to optimally prepare the players for the challenges of the youth Bundesliga.
