on the Easter weekend in Duisburg and other cities in North Rhine-Westphalia, the Easter marches, which have a long tradition within the German peace movement. A total of around 70 Easter marches were planned nationwide, which underlines the relevance and commitment of the peace movement in this critical period. The thoughts and demands expressed on the demonstrations reflect the need of the population for permanent peace and the end of armaments.
