Petition for Abdou Diallo: Sankt Augustin fights against deportation
Sankt Augustin: Deportation threatens - club is fighting for Abdou Diallo
Abdou Diallo is a 26-year-old Senegalese who has lived in Sankt Augustin for over two years and has been comprehensively integrated there. Despite his employment relationship, his sporting activities and social contact with friends, he threatens deportation to his home country. To prevent this, the members of SV Birlinghoven, a local football club, have launched a petition. This petition has already found 1,500 supporters.
DIALLO currently lives in a central accommodation facility and is only tolerated due to its current status. The responsible certificate soon expires, which continues to complicate the situation for him. His supervisor and the mayor of Birlinghoven, Hansjörg Kuhl, applied to the court that deportation should not be made until the decision about their objection.
Integration and professional perspectives
his life path is shaped by difficult experiences. After a traumatic escape story that first led him to Spain and then to Germany, Diallo took the opportunity to learn the German language and build an employment relationship. He is now employed as a fuel protection fitter and has settled into his work environment very well. He also strives to start an apprenticeship as an electronics technician, which is currently denied due to his current legal situation. Despite an apprenticeship offer, he cannot train due to his toleration.
his employer, the master electrician Roland Klein, is impressed by Diallo's commitment and sees great potential in him. However, the negative decision regarding his work permit for an apprenticeship means that Diallo does not get the chance he needs to realize his professional dreams.
The challenge of deportation
The fear of an impending deportation is heavily burdening Diallo. According to his supervisor, he could theoretically apply for a work visa in the German embassy in Senegal, but the bureaucratic hurdles are high, and the waiting times are enormous. A previously submitted lawsuit against his deportation was also made more difficult because the required justification was not submitted in good time, which reduces the chances of a successful procedure.
The city of Sankt Augustin has clearly positioned itself on this matter. According to the spokesman Benjamin Brung species, it seems that decisions for well -integrated people are often made during deportations, while the need for deportation in delinquent individuals is obviously not so consistent. The petition, which is supported by so -called well -integrated people such as Diallo, illustrates the discrepancy and the need to pursue a humanitarian and integrating approach in the treatment of asylum seekers and tolerated.
