Bonn opens the goals for the open-air season with the traditional “Rhein in Flames” from May 2 to 4, 2025. The event promises a varied cultural and music program in the picturesque Rheinaue, supplemented by breathtaking light shows, a lively medieval market and a special family program on Sunday.

The festival site will come up with three large stages and a diverse range of music. The start on Friday, May 2, offers a 90s revival with artists such as Layzee by Mr. President and Snap!. Further genres are represented on the stages of frequency factory and rock smithy, where both modern EDM music and rock acts will be performed, including tribute bands and local artists.

Another highlight of the festival is the traditional light spectacle on Saturday evening under the motto "Ludwig travels around the world". About 20 decorated ships will drive along the Rhine and dive into a fascinating ambience by light installations and fireworks. The crowning glory is a music synchronous drone and fireworks show, which will ensure a spectacular experience.
